1.1.1. Verify the presence and accessibility of fire extinguishers in designated locations.
1.1.2. Inspect the physical condition of extinguishers, including pressure gauges, hoses, nozzles, and tamper seals..
1.1.3. Ensure that extinguishers are properly charged and within their recommended pressure range..
1.1.4. Check for any signs of damage, corrosion, or leakage..
1.1.5. Provide recommendations for any necessary repairs or replacements.
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Our bi-annual (six months) maintenance service includes: 2.1.1. Thorough internal and external examination of each extinguisher .
2.1.2. Refilling or recharging extinguishers as needed to ensure they are at their full capacity. .
2.1.3. Replacement of worn-out parts, including O-rings, valves, and hoses. .
2.1.4. Cleaning and lubrication of components to maintain smooth operation. .
2.1.5. Application of new inspection tags and labels to indicate the service date and next inspection due date. .
2.1.6. Test the functionality by discharging a small amount of extinguishing agent (where permissible).
